The Mark W. Graham Foundation is a non-profit organization which provides support for young people of character and military families in crisis.  It honors the legacy of Mark Graham, a fallen soldier whose strength of character and gift of service to his country are an inspiration to all who knew him.

Mark was a Lafayette, La., native and his death opened the community's eyes to the reality of war and the sacrifice soldiers make in their fight to keep our country free. He was married to Stephanie for a little more than a year when he died. Mark was 22 years old.

A big THANKS
to our sponsors, players and everyone involved!

Mark W. Graham (1984-2007)

Mark was a young man whose warmth and spirit touched everyone who came into contact with him.  A beloved husband, son, brother, and uncle, Mark played a central role in the life of his family.  He drew inspiration from a wide variety of activities from music to athletics, and worked with commitment and diligence to meet his goals.

In 2006, Mark was compelled to serve his country in a time of need and joined the United States Army.  Known to his mates as “MG 20-20,” Mark was eventually posted to Iraq where he served with honor and pride.  On March 2, 2007, Mark’s vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb near Baghdad.  Although his injuries were critical, Mark survived transportation first to Germany and then to San Antonio, where his family was given the precious gift of telling him goodbye.

Although tragically short, Mark’s life serves as an example of courage, dedication, and integrity.  Through the work of the Mark W. Graham Foundation, we are proud to continue his legacy.

MG 20-20, Mark’s nickname, now evokes not only a brotherhood or bond, but is also an icon to acknowledge all heroes, soldiers or not.
