Character Counts Award

The Mark W. Graham Character Award is designed to recognize well-rounded young persons whose lives demonstrate an enduring commitment to qualities associated with goodness.

This scholarship award evaluates recipients on their strength of character alone, regardless of academic or athletic achievement. The contribution is designed to acknowledge those who may not be through traditional awards and provide that person with financial assistance to achieve a dream.

These graduating seniors should exemplify the core values of character – caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and citizenship - and provide examples of being a positive role model for others.

This past year, the foundation awarded a total of $12,000 to Character Awards recipients at the following schools:
